My Story
Depression | Anxiety | Chronic Illness | Alcohol Abuse Abusive Relationships | Self-Hate | Suicidal
I grew up in a home filled with conflict and turmoil, where love often felt out of reach. From a young age, I was afraid to speak up, my voice stifled by fear. In an attempt to escape, I married young, but I found myself in another painful situation—an abusive relationship. The mental and physical trauma I endured left me feeling unsafe no matter where I was, and I never allowed myself to process my emotions..
Despite it all, I became a mother to two beautiful children. But in 2009, as I was going through the difficult process of divorce, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. It was an incredibly dark time. I felt completely alone, battling extreme depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts, all while struggling with alcohol abuse. .
I hated who I was becoming and knew I had to pull myself out of it—for myself and my kids. Determined to turn my life around, I committed to deep healing. I tried everything: therapy, rehab, meditation, medication, exercise, and diet changes. Then, Breathwork found me—and it changed everything.
Breathwork helped me process my trauma, reconnect with my mind, body, and soul, and manage my stress and anxiety—all of which have helped keep my MS in remission. Now, I am on a mission to help as many people as possible discover the power of their breath and what it can do for them. Today I live a very happy life!
